We're Excited to Get To Know You

Meet The Staff

Jersey is more than just a building; it is a group of men and women, boys and girls, who come together to worship God, grow in our knowledge of the Bible, develop meaningful relationships, get involved in ministry as we care for others and connect them to Jesus.

OUR MISSION

Caring for people and connecting them to Christ.

The Great Commission is the driving force behind every evangelical church.

18 Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 18:18-20

A mission statement reflects each church’s unique God given way of fulfilling the Great Commission. As we worked through the process of selecting a mission statement, we wanted to capture the uniqueness of our church and hold firm to the call of Jesus to reach people. We felt that the word “care” expressed the heart of who we are as a church. Jersey has a history of caring for each other and the world around us. We wanted to include the word care to remind us to remain true to the call of the Great Commission.

OUR VALUES

The values below are the motivational components of our church. Our values are a set of unchanging beliefs or principles that guide and govern our decisions. They are a springboard for daily action and provide us with filters as we make decisions. In short, our values capture the culture of our church.

Scripture is our authority

Caring is our heartbeat

Sharing Christ is our lifestyle

Missions is our mindset

Change is our opportunity

OUR SPIRITUAL MEASURES

Is my worship constant?

Am I growing in Truth?

Do I serve selflessly?

Am I maturing and multiplying?

Do I care about people and connect them to Christ?
