Jeremy Young

Jeremy was born in Charleston, WV to Mike and Lynn Young. He accepted Christ as his personal savior in middle school and was baptized at Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Westerville. Jeremy attended Otterbein University earning a B.S. in Chemistry, and then an M.B.A. from Ohio University. He is currently employed as Vice President of Operations at SCI Engineered Materials. He has been an active member of Jersey since 1998, serving in the High School, College and Career, Awana, and Deacon Ministries. For the past 7 years, Jeremy and his wife, Katie, have led a Grow Group of their peers. Jeremy and Katie live in Gahanna with their 3 sons, Elijah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah.
The Young family is encouraged daily by Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
