Responsible for welcoming each person to our church services, helping them find a seat as well as get all materials needed for the service. If you have a friendly smile and love to talk to people, this is the ministry for you!

Door Greeter | Church Entrances 
Weekends and Special Events
Responsible for holding the doors and greeting each person as they come into the church building. This is a great ministry for people who are very outgoing and love people. This is also a great ministry for couples to do together.

First Time Guest Volunteer | First Time Guest Area 
Weekends and Special Events
Responsible for assisting our first time guests by answering questions, giving tours of the building and helping them register their children and find their service. This position needs to be filled with someone who has a detailed knowledge of Jersey and our ministries. They also need to be very friendly and love people.

Coffee Attendant | Cafe

Parking Lot Greeter | Parking Lot

Responsible for greeting our church family as they arrive in the parking lot as well as driving the parking lot vehicle.

Next Steps Desk | Next Steps Desk

Responsible for assisting our church family with information on next steps that they can take as well as help the register for classes and events. This position needs to be filled with someone who has a love for our church family and a willingness to learn detailed information about our church ministries.

JERSEY KIDS MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

Jersey Kid Buddies for Special Needs Guests
Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
Provide individualized support for a child with special needs during worship services. Responsibilities include assisting with transitions, helping with activities, and ensuring the child feels safe and included. No prior experience required—just a caring heart and willingness to serve.

Sunday Morning 4th/5th Grade Boys and Girls Leader
Build relationships with 4th and 5th graders during Kids Worship at 9AM and 10:30AM.
Help lead activities, guide small group discussions, and encourage kids in their walk with Jesus in a fun, engaging environment.

Sundays at 9:00AM and/or 10:30AM

GENERAL SERVICE

Safety and Security Team
Approx. hours per week: 1-2 (and/or month depending on what weeks you are on call at Jersey)
Responsible for helping keep our people and assets safe and secure.
Responsibilities may include (security): assisting our people as needed in the event of an emergency. Proactive monitoring of our facilities.
Responsibilities may include (safety): responding to those in need of medical attention during events and regular weekly programming. (Must be a licensed doctor, nurse, EMT, etc. to serve on the medical portion of this team.)

Responsible for various tasks associated with supporting Missions Coordinator to prepare for Feed the City. Help with creating volunteer lists, help with contacting volunteers, helping set up, and assist Missions Coordinator with other duties as needed

Jersey Church Ohio Disaster Relief Assistant Volunteer to the Missions Coordinator
Periodically throughout the year
Responsible for various tasks associated with supporting Missions Coordinator to prepare for Disaster Relief support from Jersey Church . Such as: communication with volunteers, assistance with coordinating activities of volunteers, tracking of various types (form submission, where support was provided, number of volunteers, number of hours worked ect.) Assist Missions Coordinator with other duties as needed
