WHAT IS A KINGDOM MOVEMENT?
A Kingdom Movement is an intentional action that advances the Gospel—where God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory. We’re tracking three types of Kingdom Movements at Jersey:
Church Planting Movements
God is calling us to send 10 new churches in the next decade. Each new church becomes a new outpost of the Gospel—reaching people we may never reach from here.
Example: A group of families feels called to plant a church in a nearby city. Over time, people come to faith and are discipled to reach others.
International Mission Movements
We’re praying and preparing to send 20 full-time missionaries over the next 10 years to share Jesus with the lost around the world.
Example: A young adult or couple from Jersey answers God’s call to serve long-term in Africa, reaching people who have never heard the name of Jesus.
Local Kingdom Movements
Right here in central Ohio, we’re called to live on mission every day—at home, at work, in schools, and in our community.
Example: A teacher starts a prayer group at school. A business begins a Bible study at lunch and opens it up to the employees. A neighbor invites another to church—and that person comes to know Christ.
Each Movement, big or small, is part of God’s larger story of redemption—and we want to celebrate it!

At Jersey Church, we believe God is writing incredible stories through the lives of His people. Every act of obedience, every conversation about Jesus, every person who comes to faith—it all matters. We know this Vision and Mission will happen one story at a time and your story is part of that movement! How We’ll Use Your Story
- Every story helps us measure progress toward our vision to see 5,000 people come to Christ by 2035.
- Some stories may be shared (with care and respect) in church communications—such as newsletters, print materials, social media, or during services—to inspire others to join the mission.
