For the Kingdom

TOGETHER, WE ARE FOR THE KINGDOM

For the Kingdom isn’t just the name of a giving campaign—it’s our declaration of purpose and commitment to live and give for something greater than ourselves.

At Jersey Church, we believe God is calling us into a new season of faith and impact. For the Kingdom is a two-year journey of generosity and obedience to resource the vision He has given us: to REACH 5,000 people for Christ by 2035.

This campaign is about more than raising funds. It mobilizes every person, family, and generation to live as workers called to a Kingdom purpose—a shift from what we have to what we can give, from privilege to purpose, from comfort to calling.

When we give, we’re not just supporting ministries—we’re fueling Kingdom Movements. Every gift becomes part of the story God is writing in our church, our community, and the world. Our generosity will help plant churches across Central Ohio and support our international missionaries as they are prepared and sent.

For the Kingdom is rooted in prayer, faith, and participation. As we step out in generosity, we trust God to multiply our obedience for His glory.

This vision is bigger than us—but not bigger than our God. Together, we move beyond funding a mission to fulfilling one, reaching farther and making a greater impact than we ever could alone.

OUR KINGDOM MOVEMENTS

A Kingdom Movement is any effort intentionally centered on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ - proclaiming His love and truth with the hope that people would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

But it doesn't stop there.

A true Kingdom Movement doesn'd end with one life changed - it begins a chain reaction of faith. As one person meets Jesus, they share that same hope with others, multiplying the impact of the gospel in homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.

This is what we long to see at Jersey: believers boldly living out their faith, sparking movements of transformation that spread far beyond what any single event or program could accomplish.
When ordinary people step out in faith, extraordinary things happen - For the Kingdom.

Church Planting

We are trusting God to help us plant 10 new autonomous churches over the next decade. By raising up pastors and sending teams into growing and underserved communities, we can reach people who may never walk through the doors of Jersey but desperately need the hope of Jesus.

We love Jersey Church and the community God has built here. But not everyone will connect with Jersey the same way - and that's okay. Our goal isn't to grow our church Jersey by 5,000 people, but to grow God's Kingdom by 5,000 lives. By planting gospel-centered churches led by godly pastors and teams, we can reach people who might never walk through our doors.

We will disciple, equip, and send leaders to plant them, always remaining partners in Kingdom work. Our shared calling is to multiply the gospel and extend God's Kingdom far beyond what we could ever imagine.

WHY PLANT CHURCHES IN OHIO?

Church attendance continues to decline.
Nationally, only 30% of adults attend church weekly, reflecting a growing spiritual disconnect that is also evident across Ohio.

Population growth is outpacing church growth.
Central Ohio continues to grow rapidly, yet the number of healthy, gospel-centered churches is not keeping pace with the new neighborhoods, families, and communities.

New churches reach new people.
Research consistently shows that new churches can be more effective at reaching the unchurched than established churches, cresting fresh entry points for people far from God.

The mission demands multiplication.
Planting 10 churches in Central Ohio will expand gospel presence, raise up new leaders, strengthen families, and help reclaim communities for Christ where spiritual influence has faded.

International Missions

God is calling us to send the gospel to the ends of the earth. Our prayer is to raise up and prepare to send 20 full-time international missionaries from within our own church family—two each year for the next ten years—partnering with what God is already doing around the world.

Imagine that - twenty men and women, raised up from within our own church family, carrying the hope of Jesus to people and places many of us never see. Together we can be part of reaching those across Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, and beyond - people who have yet to hear the good news of Christ.

We may not be called to go, but we are all called to be part of sending. Through our prayers, our encouragement, and our generosity, we can help send missionaries who will bring light to dark places and hope to those who have never heard the name of Jesus. This is what it means to be For the Kingdom - to join God in His mission to reach the world, one life at a time.

Local Kingdom Movements

Not everyone is called to plant a church or go overseas, but every believer is called to live on mission. For the Kingdom emphasizes that God has prepared good works for each of us right where we live, work, and serve. Your Local Kingdom Movement is simply saying yes to the opportunities God has placed in front of you.

Every one of us has been created with purpose. Scripture reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created for good works and called to bear fruit that brings Him glory (Ephesians 2:10, John 15:8).

Your Local Kingdom Movement isn't a church program or dependent on church funding. You don't need permission. It's responding in obedience to what God has placed right in front of you.

As a church, we want to see every believer step into their calling so God can reach those who don't yet know Jesus.

What role will you play in seeing 5,000 people come to know Jesus?
