Tuesday, June 23, 2026 - Saturday, June 27, 2026
This Summer, we have the exciting opportunity to take some students to a program called Super Summer. Super Summer is an intense week of learning about the Bible and leadership development for a select group of potential leaders. With unique "schools" specifically developed for each grade, this event is an excellent opportunity for students to grow as leaders. Super Summer is held at Cedarville University and is June 23-27. This event is put on by the State Baptist Convention of Ohio and has been going on for years. We are excited to be a part of this program.
This event is only for some students. This is an event for students who want to be leaders within the ministry, and an application is required. The cost for each student is $150. You can register online at jerseychurch.org/events
For every student wanting to go, they must meet these seven requirements:
- They have to currently be in grades 7-12
- They’ll need to complete the Super Summer registration and application by March 15th.
- Must be a faithful, baptized believer.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities and be a growing Christian.
- Live and actively share their faith consistently.
- At least 70% church attendance between Sundays and Wednesdays
- Read and complete the workbook "I am a Disciple."
- They will need to meet with a Jersey Student Volunteer to discuss the book. Once when they are halfway through, and then once when it's complete.
- Finally, they must complete an interview with Tyler or Ethan.
Students will need to be registered by March 15th; however, the work doesn't need to be completed until May 1.
