I was born in Bluffton, Ohio and raised in Lima, Ohio. The oldest of four boys of Jack and Glenna McCullough, we were raised in a Christian home, and I accepted Christ on April 7, 1963. While working in the telecommunication industry, I met a young Christian woman named Deb Medere, and we were married in 1972. In 2009, after 40 plus years in the telecommunications industry and many of the later years as a lobbyist, I sensed a call to serve God through chaplain-type services at the Ohio Statehouse. For 15 plus years I have ministered and shared the gospel with those in jail through Bible studies and one-on-one discussions. I was past chair of the Licking County Jail Ministries and current Chair of Look-Up Center Ministries. Deb and I joined Jersey Baptist Church in 2009. I have served JBC in various positions: Security, Usher, Grow Group Leader, and in the Men's Ministry.
Deb and I have a son, Sean, who is married to Kaitlyn, and a granddaughter, Cora. I am a sinner saved by God's grace and pray to hear, "well done, good and faithful servant."
