Mission Trip Report: Costa Rica

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR MATT
Jersey Church,
Every February, we celebrate Missions Month. Why? Missions Month is a time for us, as a church, to rejoice in what God is doing around the world. God is working not only in Ohio but in places that you and I have never been or may ever have the opportunity to visit. He is furthering His Kingdom and His glory on every continent and in every country all the time.
Missions Month is also a time to celebrate how God is using Jersey Church to reach people in North America and around the world. God has blessed us financially through your generous gifts, and He has used those gifts to proclaim His Gospel in places like New York, Cambodia, and Africa and through organizations like Heartbeats, Stowe Mission, and Agape International, to name a few.
We also celebrate this year as we have trips you can participate in going to four different continents. I remember going on a mission trip to Poland, where I shared the Gospel with college students. The experience began with God drawing me to go on the trip and then opening doors to get me there. While on the trip, God drew me closer to Himself as He moved forward His Kingdom among those students. It was an experience I have never forgotten. I call it the mission trip that keeps on giving because I regularly recall the lessons I learned there.
My hope is that God will call you to join us on one of these trips to experience the amazing work He is doing all over the world.
Pastor Matt
How do we bring the Good News to the nations? We can start by praying, giving and going.
The mission of reaching the nations and those across the street with the Gospel is urgent. We can participate in the daily activities of church planters, missionaries, and our own personal sharing with our ones through fervent prayer. Matthew 9 shows us the importance of praying...
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” -Matthew 9:37-38
