LOCAL MISSIONS

The call to mission begins at home. We are called first to our family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Additionally, we support local missions through Stowe Mission of Central Ohio, Look Up Center, L.E.A.D.S. Center, Storehouse for Jesus, Johnstown Food Pantry, a local Truck Stop Ministry and Jail Ministry on an ongoing basis.

STOWE MISSION OF CENTRAL OHIO

When you give and serve, you help places like the Stowe Mission Center, a ministry in inner-city Columbus. They provide assistance to those in need through a community kitchen, food pantry, dental, eye, and pregnancy resource clinics, after-school tutoring, and Stowe Church South City. Through your giving and the ministries of Stowe, we hope to see our inner-city neighbors grow into leaders who can then help others grow. Thank you for making a difference.

Five-eight volunteers are needed the second Monday and Tuesday of each month to serve lunch.

Volunteers will serve from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM. This includes serving lunch as well as set-up and clean-up.

The Stowe Mission of Central Ohio is a ministry of the Metro Columbus Baptist Association. The director/pastor is Michael Brooks.

NORTH AMERICA MISSIONS

CHURCH PLANTS

Watermark Church
This past year has been an amazing journey with the Lord Jesus as He has led us to launch Watermark Church on January 12, 2020. On that day, God brought 154 people with one person getting saved. We are so excited! We are grateful for the support from Jersey Church, Metro Columbus Baptist Association, the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, the North American Mission Board, as well as numerous other churches and different individuals. We are overwhelmed by the amazing support and how God has moved.

Please pray that God would continue to bring more people to hear the gospel of Jesus and that lives would be changed for the glory of God. Also, pray for the team that God has put together for strength and encouragement. Not only has God brought Rick and Wendy Young as the lead pastor, but He has also brought Kyle and Rebecca Connell along with their three children as the executive pastor. Chase Gilmore also moved from Florida to be the worship pastor along with Hannah Corbin from Georgia as the children’s director.

God is building His team and church in Worthington, Ohio, and we are thrilled to be along His journey for our lives.
